About
The idea of this is to shoot one roll of 6×6 film per week during the year 2008. Initially this all started from the idea from my friend and while I’m impulsive to all fun, specially under slight influence of stong chistmas beer, I had to do this as well.
Ideas behind this project:
- Learn to take better photos
- Enjoy the slow moves needed on old manual camera
- See more intersting things in the everydays surrouding world
- Return the value of picture after thowing those here and there for several years with out serious thinking
- Amuse my readers with badly written english
At the beginning I’m shooting with Minolta Autocord RG witch formely belonged to my father. It suffered the usual problem where oil has turned to sticky goo preventing the focusing lever to work. Before this project I dismantled the camera and after 35 years of sitting on shelf it’s working well again.
Compared to similar projects like this I don’t even try to shoot every day as some others do if there is nothing worth of shooting. (Read: I don’t plan to take photos from the bed if I’m having serious hang over or so.) Photos are however published picture / day style to have some sort of time based order.
